Kueio is a child of São Paulo' northern area from where he drew his inspiration from when experiencing his first graffiti in 1999. Though it is from the 2010s that Kueio as we know him now was born - strengthened by his Visual Arts studies at the University of Uberlândia, he dug into the Hip Hop culture and the Pixação universe - nourished by the idea of combining his academic learnings to the practice of a forbidden art alongside pixadores.

Mentioning modern issues, Kueio knows what he's dealing with as one of the only gay men who made his coming out in the street art scene, in a society which still struggles to accept homosexuality as a legitimate form of love.

Even though he describes himself as a "peripheral" artist whose soul is connected to the city' walls, his collaboration with Shoppings de São Paulo - advertised all across São Paulo and its iconic Avenue Paulista - gave him a substantial exposure to a new type of audience, emerging as a talent to watch within the contemporary art scene.
